Curse At The Sky

A black mass crawls along a faraway landscape
A serpent of soldiers brings a battle with no escape
A call to arms, as war drums thunder
Beneath our feet, the ground cracks asunder

Nodding faint smiles to our weeping wives
And for our daughters, long hugs of goodbye

We may perish
Oh, but we don’t care
In battle we trust
Our purpose laid bare

Beyond a placid valley, their war cries are heard
Tighten our leather guards, none waste a word
We fight for Alesia, behind shields of metal
Men forged of fury, and Hell of no equal

Nodding faint smiles to our weeping wives
And for our daughters, long hugs of goodbye
We leave behind our farms to face Roman lore
Hunger for victory, yearn to be immortal

And we will perish
Oh, but we don’t care
In battle we trust
Our glory laid bare

The flames of fear, war-dance in the night
Begin our reckoning, to bring forth the fight
Fight for our warrior king, reap what we sow
Choke on the smoke, along the valley low

Armor of thousands flashing in the flame's glow
Pledge to our warrior king, reap what we sow
Now run with your brothers, lift your sword up high
Run towards the darkened hills, curse at the sky!

Armor of thousands flashing in the flame's glow
Pledge to our warrior king, reap what we sow
Now run with your brothers, lift your sword up high
Run to the hills, curse at the sky!

Our boots splash red mist, with every charge
It’s cool and thick, and chills our dead hearts
Now run with your brothers, lift your sword up high
Run through the valley, and curse at the sky

We will perish
And we don't care
In battle we've trusted our lives
Our glory laid bare

And so we perish
Oh, but we don’t care
In battle we trust
Our bodies laid bare

Curse at the sky!
