Me, In A Nutshell

A proud native of Short Hills, NJ, and long-time resident of Jersey City, I graduated from Duke University and received my MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. I am the co-founder and president of Listen & Live Audio, Inc., an independent audiobook publishing company, and funder of Dog With A Mustache, an e-retailer of dog-themed jewelry, prints, note cards and bumper stickers.

My debut novel, "Pinned," was published in 2005, and subsequently chosen as a Jr. Library Guild Selection, followed by my second novel, "Over The End Line," in July of 2009. Two years later, "Perfected By Girls," was released. In 2016, my play, "Waiting For A Friend," was performed at the New York New Works Theatre Festival. I have published numerous short stories, as well as, wrote the lyrics for the goth metal song, "Curse At The Sky."

Amateur Wrestling

At Millburn High School, I was a two-time Suburban Conference champ, two-time District XI champ, and two-time Region III placewinner. My senior year, I captained our varsity team to a 25th ranking in the state of New Jersey.  After, I was recruited to Duke University by the school's legendary coach, Bill Harvey.

I have coached many years at the youth and high school levels, inlcuding being a volunteer coach for the Beat The Streets-NYC girls team, NXL Wrestling Club (NJ), and Millburn High School's wrestling program.

My Day Job (s)

My business partner and I started Listen & Live Audio in 1993, while we were MBA students at The Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
With over 600 titles, Listen & Live Audio has worked with some of the finest narrators in the audiobook industry, including film legend Burt Reynolds, Penn Jillette of "Penn & Teller," Frank Muller, Grover Gardner, George Guidall, Simon Prebble, Patrick Lawlor, and the incomparable Katy kellgren. The company has won 3 Odyssey Honor Awards, 12 Audie Awards, and dozens of AudioFile 'Earphones' and Publishers Weekly 'Listen Up' Awards.

We have had the privilege of recording many high-profile books, including the New York Times bestseller "Jump The Shark," "The Darwin Awards" series, "The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook" series, as well as, books and novels from popular authors like Donna Hanover, Carol O'Connell, David Rosenfelt, Leil Lowndes, LA Meyer, Barbara Corcoran, Karen White, and Cassandra King.

In addition, Listen & Live Audio is committed to supporting our military troops. Towards that end, since 2002 we have shipped over 30,000 copies of our audiobooks to American bases in the Middle East for the men and women fighting to protect our way of life.

In 2015, I founded Dog With A Mustache, a dog-themed e-retailer of fine jewelry, pop art prints and cards! For more detailed information, please click on "Animal Welfare" on the navigation bar!
